I really loved them...esp since we were kids on lock down. My parents were over protective to a fault. Anyway, the one thing that my mom always told me was that Barbie was a fantasy girl. She told me that no woman would ever be able to really look like her and be able to stand straight and walk. She was big on pushing our imagination and letting us stay kids, but she also made sure that we were grounded in reality and that we were not so sheltered that we didn't know things like current events, good body image and what sex was. I also believe that toys are educational tools and I am glad that my mom not only taught me about the toys we had selected, but that she let me have some say in most of toys I played with. I am not saying that Barbies are great, but I dont think that they are all that bad either. Ahem...and I still have Barbies. Yes completely GREEN with envy... (hee hee). I want to see this so badly! I have read Wicked & the other books by Gregory Maguire, they are quite involved and flowery and you really have to pay attention or you might get lost, but what an incredible story. I am actually in the middle of A Lion Among Men (which is the 3rd installment). I cannot even begin to explain the way I feel about this story and how it has changed my view of the Wizard of Oz (which is one of my fav movies/stories). I am so JEALOUS! I have to ask, and I do not mean offence by this, but is Oompa your boyfriend's alternate character (alt)? He's not even set foot in 25-man Naxxrammas, the primary raid instance of this current level of content, whereas my guild was the first group to clear it in North America. An interesting watch, by all means, and I do greatly envy your boyfriend's luck with the mount, as I never saw it drop in over a year of killing Kael'Thas (the boss who drops it), but perhaps you should check out the related facts a bit more closely in the future.
